Quinn had a while to consider Sam’s suggestion of taking some time off since the waiter had interrupted the discussion, and as the seconds ticked by she became more and more fond of the idea. When they were alone once again she finally spilled her enlightenment about the possibility of taking a vacation. “Why are you so smart?” She questioned her husband, while her mind remained to rummage through the possible destinations. “I’m sure Judy would be happy for us to visit, but Lima feels more like a prison than an escape venue… Nashville on the other hand..” The blonde rambled on, more thinking out loud than actually pursuing a conversation with Sam. Her eyebrows furrowed as she thought about each situation, but eased when she realized how lovely visiting Nashville might actually be. A visit with Sam’s family was long over due and she wouldn’t mind letting loose in the country for a while. “Nashville!” She repeated, her eyes lighting up and her hand moving swiftly across the table to hold her husbands, and give it a light squeeze. “What do you think, sweetie?” Quinn asked after realizing that she wasn’t exactly including her husband in the decision making process, sometimes her excitement couldn’t help but get the best of her.
She lifted her wine glass and raised it to her lips for a sip, smiling goofily afterwards at Sam while she watched him talk. God, he was handsome, and she wasn’t even sure he realized it. He complimented her and Quinn grinned wider and looked down a little, causing one strand of her blonde hair to fall down over her face. She pushed it back then looked back up at Sam and pondered, “Do you realize how lucky we are? We’re a relationship success story, my dear. Do you realize how in love we are?” She just basked in her love related glory like that for a while, with stars in her eyes and fireworks in her heart.
As Sam sat and watched Quinn consider going on a small break, he couldn’t help but sit and admire her face. He knew that she was thinking hard about it. Her eyebrows furrowed in a really cute way that Sam adored. It was as if mental pictures flashed before her eyes and the blonde-haired man could easily see it; her eyes were pointed at him, but her eyes were looking at something else, like the things that she imagined. Sam adored that. He loved that. He loved how it was so easy to read her face, but how hard it was to find out what was going on in her head. Sam’s smile only grew as he watched Quinn get more excited about it, and even more excited about going to Nashville to visit his own parents. Turning his hand over so he could hold his wife’s, Sam smiled gently at her as he looked into her eyes. “I think it’ll be great, as long as I’m with you.”
Sam’s eyes stayed glued on his beautiful wife. Never in his life had he thought that he’d become this lucky to spend his life with the most amazing and most gorgeous girl in the world. It really did amaze him. Everything about her amazed him. How she’s coped with everything that happened to her in the past, how she manages to turn everything she touches into gold and how she actually loved him, like he loved her. It amazed him that anyone could actually do that, but with Quinn… Quinn just made it seem so much easier. “I don’t know about you, but I know how much I’m in love with you.” Sam said, his eyes staying on his wife’s. If only she knew how in love with her he was…
Sorry I haven’t been online in a while, I’ve just been so busy that I decided to take a little break from the internet as a whole and focus on work and such. Nothing has really changed except for one small thing…
I like it. It looks sexy.
Well you never know with Blaine. He’s been kind of different lately.
I don’t know if it’s that or if he’s just afraid she’ll wake up. Or if he just doesn’t want to.
I’m sorry, Kurt… You’ll get there again.
Yes, but unfortunately that usually means so will Blaine.
So he’s too tired for sex? Wow… I’ve never heard of a guy who would be too tired for sex. You know, you actually sleep better after having performed. It’s scientifically proven.
Oh I know it is, Sam. And actually, he usually won’t take his sight off of Elizabeth. So I guess you could say that.
Well, doesn’t that child ever sleep?
Work, work and more work… Oh, and morning sex.
I don’t think I needed to know about that last part, Sam.
Hey, morning sex is good. What is it with you, Kurt? Is Blaine not giving you any?
I don’t feel like going to work. But hey, at least it’s getting warmer and spring is on its way.
